Leonids meteor shower - November 19, 2002
We went out with all our gear and film around 9pm on the 18th. Crossed the Golden Gate bridge going North and stopped above Muir Beach for a few shots and later at Dillon Beach.
With the Full Moon, some of the photos look like they were taken in full daylight. We shot with our Hasselblad cameras on Kodak Ektachrome 400.
Around 1:30am we started going inland to find a place to watch the meteor shower. We ended up in a field and stayed for an hour. It wasn't as impressive as it could have been because the Moon was so bright, but we managed to get a few shots with meteor trails.
